A staple pair of jeans from Carol Christian Poell's 2010 'MALE' collection featuring the elaborate 'dead-end' construction that splits the seams apart where in a conventional garment they would run straight. The result is a puzzling and compelling visual detail of the staggered seaming. Unraveling the connections in thought, one can imagine the artistry in how the pants were cut--one full piece that has been contorted and attached to itself to miraculously result in the conventional form we call 'jeans.' This pair is made from KIT-R, a dry sturdy cotton with an intricate weave, in a dirty brown color that pairs well with black, earth tones, and other distressed/overdyed colors and textures. Features overlock/suture stitching that is a tone darker than the fabric, a button-fly with a locking hinge-key-style top closure, levitating entry J-pockets, and overlock-finished hems.

Condition is 7/10 with the only defect being a small repaired hole at the crotch measuring about 1cm long. Some honeycomb fading in the crook of the knee.
