Oishi-san, the founder of ONI, has done it again. He has created one of the lightest jeans available in the Japanese Denim scene. With temperatures rising each year, many brand followers have requested something ultra-light for summer, even lighter than the Kirakus. To achieve this, Oishi has chosen a 8.5oz selvedge Chambray fabric, 100% cotton, known for its durability and excellent breathability. The fabric features indigo-dyed warp and weft yarns, offering potential for fading despite the lightweight nature of Chambray. The chosen cut is the 022, a very relaxed fit perfect for enhancing breathability. Positioned between the 266 and the 200 cuts, it is a relaxed straight cut that isn't too wide

In keeping with ONI Denim's commitment to excellence, these chambray jeans incorporate premium details such as copper buttons, high-quality pocket bags, heavy-duty bar tacks, and a custom cotton woven patch. This model have a standard sizing. We recommend choosing your usual size. However, as always, we recommend checking the size chart first to find your perfect size. It is unsanforized but one washed, so there will be no shrinkage. The waist will experience a bit less stretching than the typical stretching seen in ONI jeans due to how the Chambray is woven. Expect approximately 0.5 inches of stretching.

The legend of ONI is alive to this day. In recent years Oishi-San has devoted himself to experimenting with widely varying grammages, rough textures, different indigo dyeing techniques and novelty cuts while always maintaining a very limited production and wielding his experience in denim which now goes back more than 60 years.
